Farming is core to the Estate business and covers an area of almost 5,000 acres, farmed both in-hand and via our farm tenants. Our in-hand arable rotation produces crops including wheat, barley, oilseed rape, and peas, and it ties in closely with our sheep flock of 1,600 ewes which produces high quality lamb into local markets.
